Hello,

if i upload product images first by administator/index.php?option=com_vmexcellikeinput, then images seem not to be stored.

If i upload one image first on the virtuemart product page by the image tab, then i can upload one picture, and then i can upload the rest by vmexcellikeinput.

Why can i do it immediately by administator/index.php?option=com_vmexcellikeinput in the column 'images'?

Update to latest version.
That is due changes in VM that requires number of items to be set.
Also after update. Component does general fixup on app entry. So after your work if done you need to enter component once more. 
In next versions we will automate this process. This was quick fix.
